TOURNAMENT RULES

  •  Tournament begins at SAFE LIGHT Saturday morning & ends at NOON on Sunday.
    • 3 fish limit (length) Bass League measuring rules apply – Post fish pictures to the VBL Fall Crawl Facebook Group
    • You must check in at the VBL tent either Friday evening or Saturday morning before hitting the water
      • Livewell check
      • Sign waver & receive your indicator card (INDICATOR CARD MUST BE INCLUDED IN FISH PICS)
    • VBL tent will be set up at the A FRAME cottage (STAR on map below) so reserve your site near-by if possible so we’re all in the same general area.
  • Camping is not required if you live close enough to commute but if you are camping, YOU MUST
    • Camping Friday & Saturday: Show receipt or some form of proof that you have paid for your camp site before we give you an indicator card.
    • Camping Saturday only, show receipt or some form of proof that you have paid for your camp site or any fish you enter for the tournament will be disqualified.
  • a BONUS INCH IS AVAILABLE if you purchase a VBL FALL CRAWL T-shirt 
  • Entry is 100% FREE and trophies will be awarded for 1st – 3rd place
    • If you are in the top 3 and not present for the award presentation, you will be responsible for either picking up your trophy or pay shipping if needed
  • Additional prizes dependent on Bass League funds
    • Big Fish trophy – $10 TO ENTER 
    • Teams – $10/PERSON TO ENTER (5 team minimum)
      • Team rules:
        • Teams must be declared before fishing begins
        • Each team member will have a separate code
        • 3 fish limit. Each angler must submit at least 1 fish.
  • RAFFLE ENTRIES (may be purchased at any time) for the Eskrima Custom Rod are $5 each or $20 for 5
    • You do NOT have to be present on Sunday to win the raffle but if you win & are not there, you are responsible for pick-up or shipping cost
  • IF RENTING A BOAT at Ed Allen’s Boat Rental please call 804-966-5368 to reserve a boat. They currently don’t have all the boats in the water.
  • If you want to fish the river and the locks are open, PLEASE use the locks. If the locks are not working and you want to fish the river, you may put in at Rockahock.
  • Boat rental is available at Ed Allens Boats & Baits (You may rent at Eagles Landing but we prefer you spend your money with our hosts and rent from Ed Allens)
  • One tent or camper per site
  • A cook-out of some sort will take place Saturday late afternoon/early evening.
